I dont know the material, age or condition of the tank. Do you have any information on this tank and if it was an origional installation or later replacement?
My previous 1979 C&C 30 hull # 350 and a 1974 model I looked at and both had cylindrical stainless or monel tanks.
What cost and replacement types are available for my tank if needed ?
It sounds like your tank is aluminum as where the original tanks. Who made it and what does RAC mean, I don't know. The tank should last forever if there are no abrasive issues and it is grounded. The grounding point is on the bottom of the tank and therefor missed often by surveyors/owners. If you are unsure of the condition, have an expert look at it. He may do a little 'tap' test to see if there are weakened spots in the aluminum.
