What are you thinking? Giving up a classis to spend $200,000 more to go a little faster? Heresy!
The Alerion is a pretty thing, and the 33 in your budget area, but Alex will kick your ass and do some numbers on your likeness if you buy one. They, and the Morris, and Hinckley are absolutely beautiful, but the maintenance costs alone make them questionable unless you have decided that cost is no object. If money was no object I think these are great boats to lust over. However, I have a hard time with the fridge being a cooler that is also a step into the saloon....that really is not a saloon.
Hell, if you just want to go fast, and on one hull, and have a crew, get a J boat. The 105 is a little sparse, the 109 fits in your slip and although somewhat sparse would make a great day sailer....with crew to go fast.
Whoever gets the T34 will smile as you go by. But, at least they could not be in your marina....it is full.
