Yep, but that is the length from the "empty" end to the jaw. Same turnbuckle jaw to jaw is about 13" minimum.
I just found one that is fork to fork, 9" min - ordered it from online store in UK. It still means I need rigger to shorten forestay another 2". These guys are one of the biggest
rigging shops around here and they really don't care much. Their quality of work is not bad, can't say that, but it isn't all that great either. I had to redo quite a few things myself after them.
