I saw another 33.5 with a vertical power
winch mounted just aft of the
anchor locker. However, it appears they still have to hand lay the
rode inside the locker.
I was thinking of the possiblity of cutting out an area in the bottom of the locker, right at the front. This would open up an area leading down into the forward berth which would then need some fabrication. Ultimately opening a shute for the
rode to fall into. This is still speculation at the moment.
I am still wide open to ideas or suggestions......
