I used to use my old 50:1 gas in my snowblower. It seemed logical. Once summer was over, take the gas off the boat, dilute it a lot and use in in the snowblower. Problem was that when the snowblower sat during a mild winter and over the next summer, that gas turned to
varnish and clogged the carb so bad I had to re-build it. I have put a few gallons in my truck and diluted it with 10 gallons of straight gas with no detrimental results.
