This is a fun boat to sail. Any boat made in the late 70''s or 80''s is more subject to blistering. I have also seen brand new boats with blisters. If you just dwell on all the articals on blisters, you would never buy a boat.
A survey will tell you if you have a problem. If you don''t buy now, you probably are OK. If you do have blisters, you reduce the price the cost of an epoxy bottem. The Santana is a fast fun boat for coastal sailing.
