Just rescued a 68 36' Columbia....completely toasted from abandonment....so complete rebuild. Removed 1 1/2 feet of water, 6 years of abandoned clothing and misc junk, drying out sole, removed torn jib and emptying out storage compartments. Partial gutting of interior (trashed stove, head doors, sink, ice chest, etc etc.....) Am seriously considering removing/replacing port lights (some broken, others leak). Just received new/old Palmer 26 hp inboard for instillation. Should be interesting project.....
