I don''t have a temp fix for the shaft log but just replaced it on my 41 Morgan when she was out for bottom
paint. It required droping the rudder and partially pulling the shaft. Cost of shaft log only $145 ... I did the labor (3-4 hours). As for a temp fix maybe 3M 5200 and Duck tape. Not something I''d temp too long. Good luck
