You don't have to spend night in marina, usualy you even can't - there is no enough place. But its not expensive to spend night in little towns, and its pleasure/fancy to tie boat few meters (10 foots) from main/best restaruant/night bar in town. If you decide to tie it on buoy, you must find yellow, not red.
Maestral (northwesterly) is most common wind, it starts every day at around 12-1pm causes rough seas (but clear/sunny/nice weather).
