End of season maintenance

The engine is by far the easiest part. First change your oil and filter. Then all you need to do to winterize is to mix up a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water. Close your through hull for the engine cooling water intake and remove the intake hose from the through hull. Stick the hose into the antifreeze mixture and run the engine utill the entire two gallons have passed through. Reassemble and you''re done. This has worked succesfully for me for the last 17 Wisconsin winters. The yard will probably charge you at least $100.00 for this little job.
