Pearson365 Vs. P35 sloop...Opinions

The 365 is a sloooooooow boat with a PHRF of 210 vs. a 165 PHRF for the 35. On LIS the 365 is going to be using the engine a LOT especially in summer when the winds are light.
Single handing ability all depends on how the boat is rigged... most control lines to the cockpit, etc.
As a former Pearson owner I considered a 365 for long distance sailing because of its storage capability, etc. but truthfully my personal tastes found it to be quite a bit undercanvassed and a poor performer for ''sprightly'' sailing. Especiallly in the tidal ''rips'' of Eastern LIS and northwards, I''d suggest a faster boat than the 365.
