I have been doing alot of research on this and I will be going with the teleflex gauges as well. The Perkins engines have a mechanical pickup for the tach. This is a much better setup than picking up off the alternator. I have the complete teleflex catalog at work. I'll see if I can't post it tomarrow for you.
