Jib Sheets

Ordered a new genny while in Annapolis and I plan on buying a new set of sheets for it. 1/2" line, but I'm wondering what would be the best line to use. The way the boat is set up, the sheets are outside the shrouds (rod rigging), so they are against the shrouds most of the time. The sheets on the current headsail are kind of fuzzy where they touch the shrouds and I'm wondering if there is a line with a harder outside shell that would make good sheets? Or is it something that isn't that big a deal?

Full, is the spirit, that thinks not, of falling.
True, is the soul, that hesitates not, to give.
Alive, is the one, that believes, in love.
