I know people here can be pretty picky about their lines, but I think it's a stretch to call Sta-Set a bad choice for a beginning daysailer. He could have done a lot worse. It is a shame if he got a different diameter than he likes, but he could see that before he bought it. He should have checked the MacGregor manual or user group for recommended line sizing before purchasing. That's not really the store's responsibility.
