If unlimited budget, what boat would you purchase?

And if I had all the money in the world I would probably have one custom made to my specifications ----

(But I would almost positively insist on a well made Carbon fiber spar and a full kevlar hull or with e-glass -- the more bullet proof the better.....Never know when you might hit a container floating in the middle of nowhere )

But if you are talking about "production Sailboats" Then I would narrow it down to a

Gozzard 41 For the traditionalist in me ---Though possibly too slow for me (http://www.gozzard.com/main/g41/g41_frameset.htm)

And you gotta like the Shannon 43 and with all the optional sail plan it affords . And I think I would really like a Centerboard boat. But I would have someone come up with a bullet-proof design to allow for quick and easy centerboard usage, that would cause no noise and could run into a reef and still cause no damage. (http://shannonyachts.com/43home.htm)

You could never leave out beautiful crafted boats like an Alden 43, Little Harbor or Hinckley 42-44 --- but because these boats are so beautiful they almost belong in a museum not on the open ocean (http://www.aldenyachts.com/new_sail/ay43.htm) (http://www.thehinckleyco.com/yachts/sw42.html)

And how can you forget those extremely well made and blue water ocean proven european classics like a Hallberg-Rassy 43 an Oyster 42 (http://www.hallberg-rassy.se/hr43/hr43.shtml)

But personally....I don''t know what it is, but something draws me to a Hylas 46 (I know I know you said up to 44 feet But ......) --Maybe its just the way this boat is setup and the accomodations it would afford me.....and its still a very nice looking boat

Not the most expensive and I''m sure there are others out there...
