Well I finally got the boat of my dreams, a 31 ft 1985 ODAY sloop.

I am in the processing of learning how to winterize the model m18 4 hp universal diesel. I have been to the Universal web page and have read manual with the boat. Neither have a diagram of where the fill and drain plugs are.

Here''s the question. Where do you check the transmission fluid and where is the drain.
They state you should check it everytime you leave the dock. I''ve crawled in the smallest of spaces and can''t see anything.

Does anyone have any experience before I break my neck? Having trouble getting to the other side of the engine. Can only see port side well.

Also they say I should fill it to the top for the winter and drain off the excess to the mark in the spring. Hell if I can''t find the fill plug or dip stick then I am sure lost.
