Fred,
Thanks for your 2 cents :-). After someone’s e-mail and my second reading of your advice it came to my attention:
-low post count.... should not really decide as a factor against me/anybody as I/we spend most of the time sailing then chatting on the internet (can not combine the two),
-bad reputation through previous encounters ... it was only one previous encounter and only from one person and it is not necessary properly justify, and this also should not decide about my reputation, but I fill that I own some explanation to the interested parties.
- combative tone (?!) ... English is my fourth language and I can build sentences with some limits in expression, grammar and style. So, perhaps as a result many can find it sound strange. Sorry about that, my intentions are not meant to be in combative tone. This also should not be a factor against me after all. As Capt I always did and will stand along with any of my crew and not offend them or disohnestly use them even if we fail our mission
(anyway only captains are responsible for crews action on the boat/ship and I am taking all the "blame", but will not give up my reputation I build for over frothy years, because of one person opinion and this unfortunately failed trip !!!).
Perhaps above will give more understanding in this case.

I will work on your suggestions and present it to this forum. On the meantime anyone is welcome to talk to me about it if one wishes so. Boat is fully sound not a "junke floating device" (as it was discribe in the thread) and it is great sailing vessel. We did many, many pleasant trips on her.

Also, allowed me please to respond to freesail99 :
FREESAIL99 ...yes indeed he was very well informed about situation. I did send him and everyone else e-mails well in advance of there arrivals. He probably did not realize what it is replacing engines as well as I did not expect this many problems with installation. Other prep went very well considering we did empty many lockers that accommodated over the years all kind of staff. Most of it old paints and old engine parts, transmissions, propellers etc. (yes, sailors collect staff just in case :-))
Why we wanted to sail to begin with??!!
Well, Is this your say: "Why?" But I dream things that
never were; and I say, "Why not?"

Fair winds
