One caveat that hasn't been mentioned here yet. If your boat is painted, especially with Awlgrip—
DO NOT LET THE SHRINK WRAP TOUCH THE PAINTED SURFACE FOR ANY EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. If the shrink wrap remains in contact with the painted surface, there's a really good chance you'll get some nice bubbling of the paint.
