By flipped him in the drink I mean I carried him over to the rail and dropped him carefully in the water. I really was rooting for the little bugger and was rather saddened when I saw him turn around and go the wrong way.
And speaking of critters, a family of sea otters were playing on the dock next to my boat this morning. I feel bad for them; they also are delightful and yet they eat those dioxin laced crabs. Sometimes civilization really sucks. To hell with poo.

I see you guys in general are pretty relaxed about these kind of "guests" aboard. I always heard of rats as a big danger on a boat (more in the line with the story mentioned by SloopTattoo).
