Not a diaper changer. My brother has taken me in and out of lots of tight spots, but I'm telling you -- it's not safe. These guys always tell you how safe it is, and every year you'll hear about some very experienced pilot packing it in up there. It happens ALL THE TIME. If you want to fly safely, fly commercial. These days no one can afford to fill the tank. $4.50 - $5.00 for a gallon of 100 LL. They complete the run-up, and they've blown their
fuel budget. Gotta shutter down! Now all he wants to do is go sailing. Free access to a boat and no
fuel tab. It's amazing how much sailing and aviation have in common.
