Beneteau Oceanis 36CC Upgrades
Hi,
We have recently (today!) purchased an Oceanis 36CC to cruise the Clyde and West Coast of Scotland initially and then further afield.
I would appreciate any advice or comments on proposed upgrades to the boat.
1) The standard 36CC does not seem to have a properly situated anchor cleat and many owners report retrofitting a cleat to the foredeck. Any advice or tips ? Do Beneteau have a recommendation?
2) Any advice on fitting an emergency forestay?
3) Can fittings and blocks be fitted for a cruising chute?
4) There seems to be a lot of mixed comment (good and bad) about the seaworthyness of these boats, can any owners report on good experiences?
