the irony is people are angry enough to swear at me to affirm their right to keep the discussion on decorations, thereby silencing talk about the deeper issue it raises. there's the problem with xmas right there, in a nutshell. i'm not blaming anyone, it's our culture, but this just shows how entrenched it is.
anyway, it's probably time i got outta here, and so to everyone's relief, back to the regular scheduled programming.
