I installed some Indoor/Outdoor KLB speakers in the cabin. I had received the same warning concerning the compass but did not understand that it could be out in EW and not in NS. I moved the speakers toward the compass before installation and it clearly moved the needle. I had a leak immediately behind one speaker installation and it has survived because it was indoor / outdoor. Understand this is the poolside version not marine speakers. I found these at both Circuit City and Best Buy.
