To the extent that Sailormon6 seems to see some threat from the free assembly of free men to discuss issues of common interest and to the extent that he would tie the Trilateral Commision in with the other groups mentioned by mtboat, I'd say that, in this case, he's shopping in the after dinner delicacies section of the market.
I see little to fear from the meeting of a group of intelligent and powerful men to discuss issues that may concern them no more than I do my local Rotary or Elks organizations. I have heard that, unlike the Elks, the Trilateral Commission does have an open bar policy at it's meetings. Given that these people have been unable to so much as rig an election in one of your more mineral rich third world nations to their own benefit, I fail to see how they constitute a threat to grazing rights policies of your midwestern sheep herder, let alone the rest of the world's huddled masses. Did someone mention the John Birch Society? You can't even get a hold of their literature at your seedier truck stops anymore. The KKK has better membership roles than the JB'ers, which is to say, virtually nonexistant.
It's been some time since I've caught the morning show on C-Span and my crystal radio crapped out again so i'm not picking up the late night AM radio signals I once did. All of which means that I've grown hopelessly out of touch with the OneWorlders. Is the Prescott Bush/Joe Kennedy/Henry Ford research project still running? Those of us with jobs, and voter registration cards, have hardly the ability to keep up on the nefarious activities of these groups and so any enlightenment would not go unappreciated.
