I would differ with Sailormon6 in that I find the power of ideas to be much more relevant than the power of money in the world. I also find it highly unlikely that such powerful men would choose to meet for the mere purpose of either increasing their power or forming any type of coalition of the powerful. Most would see a decrease in both power and wealth under such a scenario. I would offer the fractious group of baseball owners as an example of what transpires when such men meet. (g)

Given that the Trilateral commision has been around since 1973 it is amazing how little they have accomplished. One might have thought that the subjugation, domination, and control of Bill Gates and the entire information technology world would have been easily within their grasp back when Mr. Gates was a mere mortal. To the extent that such as Dr. Kissinger was merely a very learned professor prior to government service and is once again one, his most powerful days have been seen as Secretary of State and National Security Advisor serving US presidents and that is where he would have performed any dastardly deeds.

I was not aware of these individuals meeting in seedy motels or, from another point of attack, my neighbor and my wife could plausibly meet at 100 other locations which would arouse no suspicions within me that they are doing other than Bible reading or discussing composting techniques. Perhaps, like the Trilateral Commission, they just enjoy discussing subjects of mutual interest.
