Thanks for the reply! I'm blessed to live down the street from Defender. I have investigated their product #401889, a "Shellac Thinner" labeled prominently as "Fuel for unpressurized alcohol
stoves"; it did not seem to be the right stuff for a pressurized burner. I was not aware of the product in your link, #400402 - this looks promising! Thanks very much for the tip.
