I wouldn't get the Honda four-stroke 2 HP. It doesn't have a real transmission and is air-cooled. At low engine speeds, needed for docking, the engine is harder to control than one with a transmission.

Last April, I bought a Tohatsu 3.5 HP four-stroke and use it with an 8' inflatable and a 12' Portabote. It works very well and it only weighs about 40 lbs. with a full tank. The tank is about .3 gallons in size and runs for about an hour.

The small Mercury outboards are also made by Tohatsu, but I would buy the Tohatsu brand, since it is usually lower in price.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
