Raytheon ST 40 or 60?

I just purchased a Hunter 260 Water Balast for lake sailing in Colorado. Can some one explain the difference between the ST40 & ST 60? I would like to put Wind, Depth and Speed instruments on her before I put her in the water in March. Since I''m only on a lake, I can''t justify twice the cost. I have heard that the ST40 is a Pulpit mount. If that''s true, can i get a special bracket for the masthead. I would like to put it on the Masthead. I does come with 66 ft of cable though. There are other manufactures but Raytheon seems to be reputable and have the best prices. BLUE SKIES & HIGH TIDES Taylor
