I installed a high capacity electric bilge
pump and float switch on my B32. I attached it to a long piece of aluminum angle stock with tie wraps. The top of the stock is attached to the the boat's shower water
pump wood base assembly. This allows the
pump to be easily lifted out of the bilge for cleaning, inspection, etc. I ran the electric
pump's discharge hose to the the existing thru-hull on the stern of the boat. This was done by inserted a tee in the existing hose that is utilized for the manual
pump. The system works well.
