It's January, it's cold, actually it's really freakin' cold, and we've run off anybody with a boat that sitting in water above 50 degrees. Normally I'd be inclined to say, "Road Trip!!!!", but that's out. (at least 'till StrictlySail in Chitown) In the meantime, certain assets of one of our newer AFOC's have come to light. (No, it's not a set of bodacious tata's. sorry)

artbyjody seems to have locked himself in fully automatic firing mode and, I ask, of whom does that remind you of?

I'll give you a hint. Think back some months ago to a little town in southern Indiana with a lonely, little Portagee, trapped in a squalid little motel room with only a laptop and a bottle of Yukon Jack for company. He's been out with the boys, all night, the boys have gone home, even the strippers have left the all-night Dennys and are home, yet our intrepid Portagee cannot surrender to the arms of Orpheus. What to do? Well, let's have a shot or two and ring up the boys on sailnet. It's time to enter machine-gun mode. I'm not sure DJ has been straight since that night. I'm not sure the Portagee remembers that night much either.

My proposition is simple but does require some seed money. Portagee and Porn Artist, mano y mano, or ram y ewe as the case may be for one round of machine gun mode, winner takes all. (well the winner get's the ewe anyway) We'll have to get sailhog out of bed to moderate, I'm sure he'd being willing to make the sacrifice. Each of our contestants is allowed/required to start drinking at 6pm,EST with the first post allowed at 11 pm, EST. All posting is limited to Off Topic threads. The moderators should probably show some attention to their long neglected wives on that night, also. The competition ends when it ends, or nautical twilight at the latest.

I'd thought that we'd need some seed money for this project but have since changed my mind, both of our contestants would be drinking anyway. I'm thinking Friday night the 25th of January would be ideal. This will give most members time to take the wife out to a movie, go to the rest room, and leave her at the theater while they get home and log-on. Probably take her a couple of hours in this weather to make it home, anyways. but we should come up with a prize of some meaningless worth. Ideas?
