Having used thousands of booties when I ran a dogteam I've thought the same thing about a "deck shoe" type dog bootie. A spandex bootie with some "GooP" or something similar may do the trick. It would have to be non-marking of course. Dogs will naturally get up on their toenails when on something slick which many times isn't the best course of action for them - a non-skid bootie would be great if someone can get one to work.

As for them walking like a spaz with booties on -- as soon as they have something to do they'll forget they're wearing them.
