Transporting Mast on Boat

Mike,
As long as the mast is supported so it doesn''t bounce it should be just fine. But, personally I would cut out V-blocks the shape of the mast edgewise and support it a foot from each end as well as a few inches from the spreader(s). Then gently hold it down as close to the V-blocks as possible. Then maybe put some foam under the mast between the V-blocks depending on it''s ridgidity.
