The design of the vent does help mitigate any sheet becoming snagged, although doing something wrong would be the most likely cause of sheet to become snagged on the unit. Can you imagine that?
I have seen folks who have installed the vents on front
hatches. Of course the solar vent is at an angle to the sun... may be good .. or may not.. I don't know.
I shall order one vent. I can always move it from one location to another.
