Visa issues aside -- you'll find plenty to do in the BVI. If you like to sail take long trips E & W, e.g. Road Town to Virgin Gorda, VG to Jost Van Dyke, then to Beef Island, then Cane Garden Bay. I would agree with those who say Saba is not worth the two nights at sea, even if the charter company would permit it, which is doubtful. Keep in mind that there's lots to see underneath the boat -- you could spend 1/2 of each day in the water.
Be careful in the BVI! After a few days you may find yourself sleeping in til 9 or so, taking a swim before a good breakfast, followed by a an hour or so reading a good book. The effects of the night before ashore kick in and a morning sleep seems in order to be followed by lunch (with wine, of course)and then a trip around the anchorage in the dinghy with some snorkeling stops along the way. By the time your back on the boat you'll feel the need for an afternoon sleep to prepare for the drinks in the cockpit where you'll be attentive to the horizon looking for the proverbial "green flash". With the sun down, it's probably time for dinner ashore and before you know it, the sun is up again, the anchor is exactly where it was 24 hours earlier and you realize that....as they say, life is good.
