The lead acid wet cells suck as far as performance compared to the AGMs. Charging time on the AGMs are a fraction of what a wet cell would be, their internal resistance is 1-2% vs. 16-20% on the wet cells. AGMs need NO/ZERO/ZIP/NADA/ZILCH/Kine maintenance, they can be used upside down without the risk of spilling, can be deeply discharged twice as many times as a wet cell, and need I say more? Wet cells blow!
