Neither use 3M 101! 4200 is NOT easily removed and may take a good chunk of your gel coat along with it. Also 4200 is not nearly as flexible as 3M 101 (polysulfide). I personally have not had good luck with Boat Life brand products they tend to turn yellow in UV rays and 101 does not. Your stanchions are bolted to the deck so you don''t need an adhesive just a flexible sealant.
