Perkins and Bottom Paint
Looking at making an offer on a Tayana 37. The boat has been in the water for three+ years. Any ideas (I''ll get real est this weekend) on having the bottom stripped and bottom painted (florida waters).
Also the Perkins 4-108 has "issues", leaking aft seal as well as another leak. Any ballpark figures on a rebuild for the Perkins.
One last one, Black Iron fuel tanks. Any idea at the cost of replacing these.
I won''t even think about this boat unless I can get a great deal on it. Other than those three "issues" it appears to be in very good shape. Yep, I''ll get a survey/rigging survey/eng survey.
