And on Joe Lieberman? You're right, we dont like him. Thats because he supports President Bush against the Dems and has endorsed McCain for President. Why would we like him if he has gone over to the dark side? Just like you guys didnt like Sen Jeffords after he defected. But in actual fact Lieberman isnt even a Democrat any more. After he lost the primary for the Senate seat he invented his own party and won on that line, not the Democratic one. So he isnt even a Dem now.
And on the Bush dogs, yes there is a group that wants to get them out. In fact it is modeled on the Club for Growth which does the same honors on the Repub side. I think this kind of thing only works in districts which were on the borderline anyway and even then only when there is a strong move toward one or the other party in a particular year. That is why they are so active on the Dem side this year since it looks like it will be a Democratic tsunami in November. Wont that be great?
