As can be seen in my avatar photo I've gone through a metamorphosis since turning 68 . The spindly legs, large upper body and tendency to stand still for hours just staring into the onshore breeze are all indications of advanced aging.
The family has been raised and they are on their own, for the most part. My Wife (she insists that I spell 'wife' capitalized), however , hates sailing and boating in general. Therein lies the rub. I sold my Gloucester 20 a few years ago and have now decided to get back on the water. I'm finding that my best option will be to build a pocket cruiser that I can single hand. Of course that is the subject for a different forum.
