Rudder replacement/repair
Argh! A big setback in our refit! Neil dropped the rudder last night and found corrosion on the 2" SS stock. We need to get a new stock made (that sounds VERY expensive) and build a new rudder around it. Anyone done this? Any advice? The boat is a 1981 Mariner 39 (built in New Hampshire.) The rudder is fiberglass.
