Check out Deale (Herrington North and several smaller marinas on Rockhold Creek), Galesville - Hartge Yacht Yard, and there are a number of other marinas south of Annapolis - half hour or 45 minutes from DC. Also, quieter, less congestion and traffic and a short trip to the Bay and mostly a heck of a lot less expensive than Annapolis, Baltimore or DC.

The Rule of Three's: Any project an owner attempts on a boat will cost three times as much and take three times as long to complete as the original estimate.
