Thanks for the thorough reply, Jeff. I found it very informative and am sure it will be useful as I move through the boat buying process.

I, like most boat buyers I''m sure, am looking for quality when I buy a boat. Fine lines are certainly nice...but I want to make sure that there''s a sound infrastructure supporting those fine lines.

Any thoughts on waterproof-glued plywood vrs. edge-grained balsa as a core?
