I recently purchased a Catalina 30 (built in 1982) and have found that the head''s
holding tank is leaking, apparently from underneath. Inspecting the area around the tank, I see three fiberglass "boards" tightly snugged up against the forward, aft and outboard walls of the tank - all permanently glassed in. It seems impossible to remove the tank without cutting one of these retaining boards out. Any suggestions on removing the tank?
