Excellent article. I'm reading it while safely ashore after dragging my
anchor in a squall and ending up on a muddy lee shore.
The sheriff's water rescue boat pulled me afloat, and I don't think my rudder or keel are damaged, but you bet that this issue has more than academic interest for me today !
