How do y'all like your sailomat units? How much do they cost? (I hate manufacturers that don't put prices on their websites!) I had pretty much decided on Cape Horn a few years ago when I did some research. Now the've doubled in price from 2k to 4K
So now I'm back to the drawing board....
I have a Formosa 41, and since the mizzen mast overlaps the stern, I'm a little limited on my choice of vanes. Also, she has a pretty stern and I would like something without too many tubes and gears. To further complicate, I have davits.... I will fold them away when going offshore, but it would be nice to have a vane that will work around the davits.
