I was out on an ODIN 28 last fall at night to view fireworks and was on the
wheel for some time. It is a very solid feeling boat with great interior space. I was unnerved by the power from the 70 horse engine as I have never operated power boats (I have a 15 hp Honda on my Mac 26S & I thought that was powerful, but nothing like the ODIN) . They now have a diesel model that has 135 horses.
I did not get to sail on the ODIN (I hope to this summer) but a member of our club who is a very experienced sailor did so & rated it very high as a sailing vessel. I understand that they are coming out with a stripped down lower priced boat in the near future that could make it more accessible to more sailors. By using a 15 HP on it & foregoing the expensive trailer (e.g. storing it on a cradle at the boat yard), the price could be brought down significantly.
