Kitty and I have sailed around the world twice and we still consider Maine to be THE BEST cruising grounds anywhere in the world. It is best to go to Maine in August as the seems to be less fog then. In 2006 there was almost no fog for the last half of July and all of August. I put together a few of our favorite places to visit and have posted them at the URL below.
