My new boat has a “Baby Blake” head on it. For those who have never heard of a Baby Blake, I was just like you before this boat. What I have come to learn is that this thing is the most expensive pot-to-piss-in EVER built for a boat. They currently list for about $6,000.00 and the price continues to climb. A simple rebuild kit alone runs for about $400.00+!!!! Why do I tell you all of this? The head leaks, does not flush well, smells and generally annoys the piss out of me (pardon the pun). I love the look and telling my friends what the thing is worth but I don't want to deal with the issues. So now I’m at a crossroad, do I keep the throne or throw it overboard and for the cost of a rebuild kit get myself a new electric macerating head. I could also get a new manual head but I'm not spending the money on a new Baby Blake.

I need advice!
