On Alex's boat it's the expresso that gets dumped...VERY EXPENSIVE expresso!
It was amazing...20 minutes of cooking, Portuguese swearing and lots of crying, and you get handed a mouthful of warm coffee. Alex just has one of those tiny stovetop things on board, because a
proper coffee maker would "add too much weight".
Thank God there was Sagres beer...
We tried to tell him that very expensive spilled coffee polishes the floorboards, but he didn't believe us. I think he's looking for crew with gimballed ankles...
