radio today talking about a free download you can get that will prevent your computer from playing games rated "mature", so that kind of answers the other kid bringing it over question.
My objection to these types of things, and it goes counter to the American rationalization that they'll see and hear worse, is that a child only has one childhood. If he or she grows up somewhat naive they have a whole life ahead to gain experience and wisdom. They don't need exposure to the baser elemnets of society to know that there is evil in the world as well as bad people. Why would we spend our lives working our butt's off so our kids don't have to live in crime-infested and morally compromised communities only to spend $50 to bring it into our living rooms?
